Amy Winehouse Calls St. Lucia Home
(April 5) Singer Amy Winehouse may be taking up permanent residence in St. Lucia.Rumor has it that Amy Winehouse has returned to St. Lucia to focus on writing for her upcoming, third studio album and may also be finalizing the purchase of a £3 million home on the island.
Winehouse had spent a few months on the island earlier this year. It has been reported that she is looking to settle on 2.4 acres of private land on a property called Firefly Villa. The beachside villa is part of the Sugar Beach development, a 162-acre stretch that features 24-hour butler and maid services.
Of the plan, a friend of Winehouse told the Mirror, “Amy says it’s better for her to be out there than in London. She has managed to get off hard drugs in St. Lucia and is living a much healthier lifestyle.”
