Jamaica Must See Reggae Sumfest Kicks Off This July

(June 28) Jamaica’s annual reggae music festival, Reggae Sumfest, kicks off on July 19 and continues to July 25.

Reggae Sumfest showcases top Jamaican acts along with international artists in keeping with their motto, “Promoting Music, the Universal Force.”

Past Reggae Sumfest headliners included Mary J. Blige, LL Cool, Rihanna, 50-Cent & G-Unit, Missy Elliott, Morgan’s Heritage, Elephant Man, Beenie Man and Bounty Killa.

While still working on the Sumfest Line-up, organizers have dislcosed the names of few top acts for Reggae Sumfest 2009 including Ne-Yo, Toni Braxton, Jazmine Sullivan, Nas, Damaian Marley and Keri Hilson.
