Not only is the fall a great time to see the Caribbean without many other tourists in the area, October and November are also chock full of lively Caribbean festivals.  Live like the locals and get a real Caribbean welcome this fall festival season.

October Festivals
October 9,10 - Aruba Music Festival – This year’s headliners include Earth Wind & Fire and Paulina Rubio
October 17 – St Lucia’s Feast of La Marguerite
October 24-31 – Nevis Pirate Festival – Includes a treasure hunt, contests and other special events
October 25 – St Lucia’s International Creole Day with Creole food, music and folklore
October 29-31 – Bermuda Music Festival with Quincy Jones
October 30 – November 1 – Dominica World Creole Music Festival

November Festivals
November 6-8 – Dominican Republic Jazz Festival – held in Cabarete near Puerto Plata
November 12-15 – Anguilla Tranquility Jazz Festival 2009
November 12-22 – Cayman Islands Pirates Week 2009 featuring a “pirate invasion,” music, street dances, parade, sports events, fireworks and more
November 21-28 – Nevis Pirate Festival – Includes a treasure hunt, contests and other special events
