Caribbean Cup Kicks Off At Paradise Island

(November 11) The Second Annual Caribbean Golf Associations Caribbean Cup kicks off today at Paradise Island.

The Caribbean Cup, a unique Caribbean tournament, is hosted by the Bahamas Golf Federation.  The tournament is scheduled for the Ocean Club Golf Course at Paradise Island from November 9th through November 14th. 

The teams are made up of twelve players from five countries in the Eastern Caribbean and twelve players from five countries in the Western Caribbean.

This year’s Eastern Caribbean team includes: Captain Sidney Wolf, James Johnson and Marcus Clarke, O’morry James, Charles Blake, Eric Morales, Rafa Campos, Robert Calvesbert, Christian De Meillac, Joel McEachrane, Talin Rajendranath, CJ O’Connell and Donald Baugh.

The Western Caribbean team includes: Captain Bob Slatter, Devaughn Robinson, Ben Davis, Jr., Oren Butler, Robert Chilman, Robert Woods, Radhames Pena, Lino Guerrero, John Paul Garrido, Radcliff Knibbs, Jonathan Newnham, JP Srinark and Bryan Kennedy.

The Caribbean Cups championship trophy is the Cesar Rivera Cup.
